One of our last trips as a family was to beautiful Maui. It was a spectacular trip the kids loved to travel. We made our stop in Cali to visit with Uncle Bob in Hollywood ,to break up the long flight. Jumping off the roof into the pool probably the highlight for them.

My travels were on a cruise ship ,which I never thought I would do. But this was a wonderful experience for a 1st to Europe. Exploring daily these gorgeous places. Madrid, Barcelona, Rome, Florence, Capri, Through Tuscany and then the south of France which was Paris and Provence. Truly magical from start to finish. I didn't need the ship ,as night life is not the draw But the excursions were everything to me. I walked and walked and drowned myself in the beautiful architecture and culture~amongst magnificent food .

This cruise was so awesome , extremely comfortable to be by myself. The excursions were incredible. Oslo on the water. its low keyed wealth, contemporay homes with old world living , young families bicycling to work. So advanced environmentally. Belgium architecture, its church's are stunning, Holland with its windmills and those clogs, just as I envisioned but even better. Bremerhaven Germany so beautiful and its delicious beer . Was one of my favorites and would absolutely repeat again!

England and Ireland 2015
This was truly one of the best trips of my lifetime. England I truly had a heart felt connection, especially to family. Ireland also was beyond. When I traveled that country so freely, just flying by the seat of my pants in rental car for 2 weeks with not one reservation. Every spot was better than the one before. The people so genuine. When I returned home, I learned after doing my ancestry, that every where I stayed, my family resided. It is where they came from on my grandmothers side. It was the most amazing feeling I have ever felt on a trip , a true connection to the experience. I long to return to my roots on all sides and explore my history in its entirety .
New York City living 2016
This is worth the post.. Short lived before my move to Idahome. I needed to escape after the the burning down of my studio and the break down of family. My time spent living in NYC was amazing. The city still is my favorite place of all. Through my travels I feel most connected to this place . I will forever hold the UES in my heart ~for the experience was the best. I had to balance out that heightened energy with my move to Idaho ..the complete opposite . It was during that time, while living in Idaho, when covid hit and my actual blog began.
Idahome 2017
My love for Idaho is tremendous and so very missed. I had the most healing experience~ a lifetime of stuff that had been stuck. The time spent alone on my own, taking the biggest leap to heal out in that most beautiful place with its magnificent mountains .The best gift I could have given to myself. I am so incredibly grateful to my brother and Mariel for offering me their home ~ the opportunity I was afforded to create so many amazing connections with a beautiful new beginning. I got to renvent my life from scratch, yet AGAIN! But this time all alone and on my own. The people, the friendships, the yoga community, my surroundings, they still melt my heart with every thought. It was like nothing I could ever have imagined for myself.. that time lasted 3 + years. That is when covid actually hit in Sun Valley , then life changed yet again . Those memories will last me a lifetime .. pure GRATITUDE for every single moment I spent out west <3

The gorgeous stay in a thatch cottage in Wiltshire . My weekend with 2 pups~ Was so this wonderful English could attend the wedding of their daughter was truly a great gig. I loved that home ,its 2 pups and my stay. My last evening ended with a traditional English meal of chicken and dumpling with this beautiful couple. I was off to stay in Bath ,England. I followed that up with a long drive to Scotland. I had an amazing experience driving yet again on the opposite side of the road through traffic circles which ended with a train ride back from my castle visit ~Oh, how I loved Scotland. Such a fascinating history . I ended my trip
with a visit to a friends in London, after a 10 day exploration . Majestic to say the least~ I will absolutely be back

My trip to GREECE.. just wow . What a leap that was . I ventured with an invite from a friend from the past. I was so happy to be invited to her mothers original family home from generations past. The most authentic true connection to her ancestry .. The home is well over 100 years old way up in the mountains of Karpathos. I took this leap, although I Often travel by myself . I even met a woman in Athens who was also solo traveling , ironically she lived in the same town as I , we had a delicious lunch before heading out to our next destination ..we have remained friends since . It was a beautiful trip . I loved Greece, so incredibly stunning ..the water, the culture ,the connections that they have with family , along with many holiday celebrations are done weekly on average. Mass is for all to hear on a Sunday morning , you don't even have to leave your home to listen... Greece was as an experience unlike anything I ever had. LOVED LOVED LOVED it all

First off Levie is the best.. She knows how to travel and makes it smooth and effortless. Just the way l like it. No pressure just ease and adventure. We had a pup with us as Levie was house/pet sitting for a month.. I truly enjoyed so much of Mallorca ..it was as magical as the rest . The food, the sunsets, the trolly into town. Melding into the culture simply by sitting amongst the amazing people in the town square . The architecture alone was incredible just as the rest of Europe. Centuries old , as America is 250 years young.. I could look up all day everyday in amazement.. Beautiful walks along the water, with those cobble stone streets and markets. Our last night dining in a 5 star restaurant was a gift with a spectacular sunset , the best ending to great trip!
Sweden in summer 2025
My visit to Sweden .. truly one of my favorites ,with my BFF with the most generous gift of my lifetime . Liza and I had so much fun together . We too travel very well . Our friendship is awesome . She gifted this trip to me for the care of her pups. That is how we met several years back. I can't say enough about her or Sweden itself. The people, the lifestyle , its beautify along with its simplicity was nothing short of comfort and ease. It was and is something I could return to over and over again . No matter how long or short the days are , whether sunlight or in darkness ...there is nothing like it. I just loved my time spent learning about its history, while visiting museums and its love for design ,

Sweden in December 2025
I actually flipped the photss on these 2 trips to Sweden ...Summmer is when I was with these loves. They are now married and residing here in Sweden happily away from the USA. It is a time that most of us wish we were also away from crazy. Grateful to have had another beautiful time spent with this family abroad. I love it here especially its ease and its comfort with society. People actually live.. sun exposure cold plunges hot saunas. Health is wealth in Sweden and that goes for the mental aspect of living also.. What a concept for us to learn from ...The baltic for me is a definite return . I hope to catch the Northern Lights on that adventure , although Iceland is on the agenda fro that . My gratitude is beyond words for my experience of all that Sweden has to offer. Thank you to my beautiful friend liza <3
Iceland October 2026
Iceland was simply magical. What a beautiful country. The landscape was nothing short of magnificent. Reykavik was an awesome city with so much history . Museums dating so far back to the viking times and before. The food was so clean, so healthy. Its people live a very peaceful existence. I never even saw a police officer nor a police car as I traveled some 4 hours out of the city ,through he Southern route to Vik. and also did the golden circle. The glaciers ,waterfalls ,hot springs, even a year round tomato farm was not only beautiful but delicious. You need not stay anywhere else but the city of Reykjavik and venture out from there. They offer small van excursions that are so perfect ,so intimate . On a much smaller scale's to get the real feel of its culture. The hikes are incredible to explore this country by foot and the drive out to see the Northern lights was like nothing ever experienced . I highly recommend Iceland . Save your money as it is a bit expensive but well worth the price. This country loves its people, and its animals roam free from any predators. The health of its people .. is actually its true wealth. The government takes care of all its beings and they live a life free from most that we in America worry about ... It is so beautiful to witness the love of Icelanders dedication to its country. Go my friends ,experience and explore it all.
